Internationally recognized by birdwatchers, the Itatiaia´s National Park, located in a strategic geographical position between Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, is famous for its pleasant weather all year long, for the beauty of its forests and rivers and for the enormous diversity of birds, including endemic species. In both areas (the higher and the lower one) we can search for the Saffron Toucanet, Dusky-legged Guan, Black-billed Scythbill, Star-throated Antwren, Large-headed Flatbill, and Reddish-bellied Parakeet.

Also have the opportunity to bird on trails looking for Brazilian Ruby, Black and Gold Cotinga, Diademed Tanager, Itatiaia Thiseltail and Araucaria Tit-Spinetail, among others. At dusk, we look for Tawny-browed Owl and Semi-collared Nighthawk.

Enjoy at least two full days of birding in the Park.
